Lejastiezumi invites to summer relaxation, recreation and adventures

Conference and leisure centre “Lejastiezumi”, situated by Lake Usma, has just resumed its operations, commencing the new summer season with more democratic and affordable service tariffs.

The director of the real estate investment management company SIA “LASCO Investment” that manages “Lejastiezumi” Raitis Nešpors says: “The interest of individuals, companies and organisations in recreation, presentation and sporting events is gradually coming back to life after the last year’s decline, and people have been making the first reservations.”

As this initial interest shows, people who formerly chose to spend their vacations abroad, are now starting to express interest in recreation opportunities in Latvia. Such factors as paying capacity change and increased responsiveness of holiday centres and guesthouses contribute to this tendency. Furthermore, an increased interest can also be observed in the sector of provision for different events and the related services. Since the optimisations implemented within the past year have brought about lots of negative emotions in the daily life of the employees of the companies, thus affecting their business, the companies have started to think about their employees’ wellbeing and staff consolidation. Owing to the increased availability of services, the former clients also begin to return gradually. There are all sorts of vacationers: dedicated fishermen, young couples, roadsters and orienteering enthusiasts and also those who, exhausted by the stresses of urban life, enjoy relaxation and regain energy. Although Latvians are the main users of the services offered at “Lejastiezumi”, our neighbours from Lithuania as well as from Sweden, Germany and other places also come by.

“Lejastiezumi” is open to summer holidaymakers

“Lejastiezumi” – one of the largest conference and leisure centres in the Baltic states – is situated far away from the hastiness and dust of civilisation, surrounded by the lofty forests of Kurzeme, on the scenic shore of Lake Usma (Kuldiga region, Renda parish). The complex has 8 buildings with the total number of 153 beds and a campsite with 3000 tent places and trailer hookups. For the needs of conferences and presentations we have equipped premises that can host up to 100 persons. There are two ponds, paved roads, a parking lot and twenty-four hours security at the territory of “Lejastiezumi”. “Lejastiezumi” offers, saunas, boats, a pool, grills and fireplaces for recreation and swimming places and playing fields (tennis, basketball, football, volleyball) for sports.
